  • Tina Newton

    Tina Newton is a retired teacher after a 34 year career in education. Both working in the private and public school systems. 

    Mrs. Newton has also spent time volunteering during the Joplin tornado recovery, and working with Arkansas Baptist disaster relief during hurricane Harvey. She has also volunteered with  Hutchcraft ministries On Eagles Wings and many years with First Baptist Church children’s programs.  Currently she is working with a new relationship with Alaska Missions and Retreats.  

    Her mission is to help others with her skills whenever available so she can glorify her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Dr. Rosean Moreno

    Dr. Rosean Moreno is an equity-centered strategist, educator, and thought leader in student success and inclusive program design. With two decades of experience in higher education, she has directed federal grant-funded initiatives, developed culturally responsive curriculum, and led capacity-building workshops that empower all learners.

    As a first-generation Latina and mother, Dr. Moreno brings lived insight into pathways of access, resilience, and systemic change. She is passionate about aligning educational programs with organizational mission and ensuring every learner feels valued, confident, and equipped to thrive.  

  • Dr. Kelly Garrett

    Dr. Kelly E. Garrett recently retired as the Director of the Emergency Management Professionals Program at the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he led curriculum development and course delivery for the Basic, Advanced, and Executive Academies—programs that educated over 4,000 students annually. His distinguished federal career included leadership roles across the Department of Defense, Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. In addition to his federal service, Dr. Garrett has served as an adjunct professor at several academic institutions, where he continues to share his expertise in leadership, strategy, and emergency management.

    A retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, Dr. Garrett held numerous high-level positions throughout his military career, including assignments at the Pentagon, U.S. Army War College, and U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. He holds advanced degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Duquesne University, and has earned executive certificates from institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Wharton, and The Brookings Institution. Dr. Garrett also brings credentials as a certified Executive Leadership Coach and remains a respected voice in leadership development and crisis management education.

  • Lorianne Bundick

    Lorianne (Lori) Bundick has worked in emergency management in the public and private sectors for over seven years. She first became interested in the field while taking a CERT course. Her interest continued to grow when she had the opportunity to take some emergency management courses through UCLA Extension, where she discovered the field blended her interest in promoting personal and public safety and preparedness. Not long after, she joined the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) at UCLA.

    At UCLA’s OEM, she facilitated various emergency preparedness trainings, updated emergency plans, and responded to events affecting UCLA’s campus, ranging from fires, demonstrations, and COVID. Ms. Bundick has also spent time at a consulting firm, assisting a wide range of clients with their emergency management and/or business continuity concerns and needs.

  • J. Michael Davis, Esq.

    Mike Davis served 28 years in the US Navy Reserves, retiring as a Commander.  For his last tour of duty, Mr. Davis was stationed in Bahrain serving as Assistant Chief of Staff for the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command’s 5th Fleet.  In addition to his Naval service, Mr. Davis has been a career attorney serving as senior staff counsel for the State of California, Department of Corrections and as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of California.

    In 2021, Mr. Davis launched a Navy JROTC program in Northwest Arkansas teaching five classes a day at two separate high schools with over 120 cadets enrolled annually in the program.

  • Andrea Davis, CEM, CBCP

    Andrea Davis is a recognized expert in the field of emergency management who has dedicated her career to bridging the silos between the public and private sectors to create a united approach when it comes to disaster risk reduction. 

    Ms. Davis has held leadership roles with NGOs (The American Red Cross, Save the Children US), the US Federal Government (FEMA, The Federal Reserve) and for Fortune 500 Companies (Walmart, Disney).  With each role, Ms. Davis used her influence to lead global initiatives focused on the importance of making risk informed determinations and engaging all members of the community in the decision-making process. Currently, Ms. Davis is the President and CEO of a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), The Resiliency Initiative (TRI).  Ms. Davis founded TRI out of a passion to serve the whole community before, during, and after an emergency.
